LOOK: UST vies world record for largest human sentence

A total of 17,011 students of University of Santo Tomas (UST) formed a human sentence as an attempt to break the world record for the largest human sentence.

The students went to the UST Open Field and formed the sentence “My teacher is my hero” to commemorate their teachers during the National Teachers’ Month.

The National Teachers’ Month is celebrated from September 5 to October 5.

UST also holds the world record for the largest human cross after 13,266 people formed the black and white Dominican Cross as a way to symbolize the university’s identity on March 9, 2011.

Currently, the Guinness World Records recognizes the Rotary International District 3000, Rotary Club of Perambalur New Gen, and Roever Group of Educational Institution as the holder of the world’s largest human sentence record.

A total of 16,550 participants formed the human sentence “You can, you will” as a way of celebrating the International Youth Day in India.
