“Got myself a fiancée just before new year,” British singer songwriter Ed Sheeran happily announced engagement with Cherry Seaborn on his Instagram post on Saturday, January 20. 2018.
“We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx,” the 26-year-old singer record producer captioned in a sweet photo of him kissing his fiancé in the nose.
The couple, who have moved in together, has been dating for almost three-years since the summer of 2015 after Seaborn was invited by Sheeran’s best friend, Taylor Swift over the latter’s Independence Day fête at her Rhode Island home.
Prior to that, Sheeran had met the 24-year-old Seaborn since he was 11. He refers his fiancé as “really cool” to Ellen DeGeneres in a clip from Ellen’s Show Me More Show on YouTube posted in December.
“We have two cats [Calipo and Dorito] but they’re both really, really strange creatures. They kind of sit up like humans. It’s really strange. You’ll walk in and they’ll be looking at you.”
Meanwhile, netizens on Twitter congratulated ‘Perfect’ and ‘Shape of You’ singer with witty comments pulled out from the lyrics of his song.
