The most beautiful day in the universe is just a day away. But wait, the Miss Universe Organization might implement new mechanics for the coronation event to even the playing field, pageant aficionados reported.
Miss USA 2014 Nia Sanchez on her YouTube channel and pageant website normannorman.com said that the Miss U organization will be choosing 12 semifinalists per continent, which will come from four candidates from three groups.
The Americas (North America, Central America, South America, Caribbean), Europe, and Asia, Africa, and the Oceania group will each have four candidates, respectively, who will be picked for the finals.
The coronation night for Miss Universe will be held November 26 in Las Vegas (November 27, Manila time).
