Arjo Atayde speaks up about his half-sister

Arjo Atayde finally opened about his half-sister after his mother, veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez, revealed that he is not her eldest child.

The actor told PEP that her sister “chose to be with her dad”. He added that: “No matter what problem comes in, at the end of the day, you’re family. Family is family. Magkaproblema o walang problema, you guys will back up each other, you know,” he said.

Even if they are not as close as before, Atayde maintained that “she’s still my blood.”

“She’s still in my heart, she’s still my sister. But, you know, life is life. There are some things that you have to move on from. There are some things that you won’t forget but let go,” he said.

During her “Magandang Buhay” interview, Sanchez said she was only 17 when she had Pia.

“A lot of people have been asking about my firstborn. Pia has a different dad,” said Sanchez, who has four children with husband Arturo Atayde.

The actress admitted that the reason why Pia is rarely seen with her on social media is because of the explanation that she would have to give if she answers questions about her.
