WATCH: Isabel Granada’s colorful career on TV

Eighties actress Isabel Granada may have passed away, but her legend as an actress will forever live on.

Granada first landed an acting role when she was nine. She was cast as the child of the lead actors in the 1985 film Magchumikap Ka. Try to spot the actress still in her pigtails and pastel-colored 80’s get-ups in the clip below!

Granada then joined That’s Entertainment’s Tuesday Group in 1986, and stayed as a cast member in the teen show for a decade. Watch the actress sing and dance to Crush na Crush, one of the songs in her 90’s album.

In 1998, she also won the FAMAS Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in blockbuster film Ligaya ang Itawag mo sa Akin.

The actress also starred in the reality TV show Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Doubles Showdown. The fourth and final season of the local adaptation of the American competition teamed Granada up with fellow 80’s celebrity Chuckie Dreyfus.

The two have been paired as a loveteam since That’s Entertainment and starred alongside each other in movies such as Magic to Love (1989) and Lessons In Love (1990). The pair’s closeness manifested in the reality show.

The actress again picked up a mic and unleashed the star performer in her in It’s Showtime’s Bida Kapamilya Celebrity Round: The Finals, last 2013. Watch Granada set the stage ablaze with her rendition of Girl on Fire.
