Several celebrities took to social media to ask for prayers for actress Isabel Granada, 41, who is reportedly now in a coma.
According to actress Lalaine Bianca Lapus’ Facebook post early Wednesday morning, Oct. 25, Granada was rushed to Hamad Medical Corporation’s Heart Hospital in Doha, Qatar due to a brain aneurysm.
Chuckie Dreyfus, her love team partner in the 1980s, described Granada as “one of the strongest women” he knew and said he was keeping in touch with Arnel Cowley, Granada’s husband, about her current condition.
Ruffa Gutierrez also offered prayers for her fellow alumni on That’s Entertainment star, a variety show that aired on GMA Network in the 1980s.

Donita Rose, also a member of That’s Entertainment, said she believes collective prayer will “move mountains”.
Pia Magalona, mother of Elmo Magalona who was a co-star of Granada in ABS-CBN’s Wansapanataym, was surprised to hear about the actress’ condition.

A brain aneurysm is a “bulging, weak area in the wall of an artery that supplies blood to the brain”, and its symptoms are said to be unnoticeable.
