Alisah Bonaobra, a crowd favorite, performed a rendition of Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” for Sharon Osbourne at the Judges’ Houses on Saturday.
Her powerful vocals and growls amazed Osbourne and her children, especially Kelly.
Apparently, it wasn’t enough to secure a spot in the top 12 for the Filipina.
Osbourne instead picked Grace Davies to complete her top three and told Bonaobra she wanted to see her musical flexibility.
“You have the most amazing voice. I know you really need this and you really want it. But I feel that you’re kind of very one dimensional. Your power ballads, and even though that’s fantastic, I want to see other sides of you,” she said.
Davies, Holly Tandy and Rai-Elle Williams are going through to the live shows.
