Actress Ellen Adarna has denied that she is pregnant and is related to veteran newscaster Jay Sonza after the latter’s Facebook post about his pregnant niece “Elena” went viral.
In a private message to Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the 29-year-old Kapamilya actress said that she is not the “Elena” whom Sonza was talking about.
“We’re definitely not related,” PEP quoted Adarna.
In Sonza’s Facebook post, he shared his conversation with his niece “Elena” who he said was taking an overseas vacation.
“Elena” revealed to Sonza that he is going to be a grandfather soon because she is pregnant with someone she introduced to him.
“Malapit [ka nang] maging lolo…Sabi mo [sa akin], blessings ang ganito di ba? kaya [blessed] ako,” ‘Elena’ told Sonza
The chat showed that ‘Elena’ is taking a vacation either in Saint Tropez, France; Nice, Italy; Venice, Italy; or Morocco.
Sonza’s niece also announced that she is finally engaged.
Fans of Adarna speculated the actress is “Elena” since she is having a vacation in Europe with her rumored boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.
Based on her Instagram account, Adarna and Cruz are in Paris, France.
This is the second time this year that Adarna was speculated to be pregnant.
In May this year, showbiz columnist Ricky Lo published an article titled “Is Ellen Adarna preggy?”
Adarna also denied Lo’s claims.
