It’s time for Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach to take the next step in her career.

Wurtzbach has signed a two-year contract with ABS-CBN Network on Monday Oct. 10 and is beyond ecstatic.

“I can’t believe it, it’s actually happening already,” she told media reporters.

Meanwhile Jonas Gaffud, Wurtzbach’s mentor during the pageants, said he was thankful their efforts have paid off.

“It took almost 8 months of communicating and finalizing everything. But it’s worth the wait. We are extremely happy and blessed indeed,” he posted on Instagram.

Wurtzbach revealed there are several movies and television shows that have already been lined up, but she refused to give details.

The beauty queen has been working with ABS CBN, but only on supporting roles since she was 14 years old.

She was also a member of Star Magic Batch 11 under the stage name “Pia Romero”.
