Filipino singer makes it to ‘Bolt of Talent’ finale

Philippines’ bet Lance Busa outperformed singers from Taiwan, Malaysia, and the Philippines to reach the final leg of Michael Bolton’s talent search competition, Bolt of Talent.

The internationally renowned crooner handpicked Busa, 22, to be the country’s representative for the competition after performing a contemporary R&B version of Bolton’s “I Love You But I Lied”.

After a series of rounds, Busa, who previously joined GMA’s boy band search To The Top, emerged as one of the top two finalists of the competition.

“This is the dream. The path I would fight for the rest of my life. The end of the show is near, and I just want to thank you all for your support and prayers for me. Lalaban pa rin tayo,” he said in an Instagram post.
