Former reporter crowned Miss World PH 2017; Winwyn Marquez, named Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas

Lifestyle host and former UAAP courtside reporter Laura Lehmann took home the Miss World crown during the pageant’s coronation night on Sunday, September 3.

She was crowned by Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray and Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle, who is currently in Manila with other members of the organization.

Second time’s the charm for Lehmann, 24, who finished as a runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2014.

In June, Lehmann posted a photo with Miss World 2013 and the Philippines’ first and only Miss World winner Megan Young on Instagram and fans couldn’t help but refer to them as the “former and the future” Miss World.
