Maxine Medina takes her shot at acting

Fans have seen her strut down the Miss Universe pageant stage representing the Philippines in 2016. This time, beauty queen Maxine Medina is set to enthrall audiences once again with her acting skills.

Medina is set to star in the upcoming OctoArts movie “The Haunted” alongside Daniel Matsunaga, Benjamin Alves, and Enrico Cuenca, Medina’s pageant mentor Jonas Gaffud shared the news on Tuesday.

    Alves, one of Medina’s three leading men said in Instagram post, “I’m excited to be partnered with Maxine Medina soon on the big screen! Just please don’t wear heels. Expect lots of surprises from this talented lady.”

    In an interview last March, Medina said that she is not closing her doors on showbiz opportunities.

Medina was the country’s representative in the 665th Miss Universe held in Manila last January, finishing in the Top 6.
