2 Pinoy singers selected to compete in Michael Bolton’s show

Two Filipinos are looking to showcase Pinoy’s talent in the international scene as they compete in Michael Bolton’s upcoming talent search series “Bolt of Talent”.

According to a press release, Hans Dimayuga and Lance Busa are among the eight singers who passed a series of auditions and are now part of the show.

Dimayuga, a 28-year-old singer-songwriter, performs at weddings, hotels and restaurants gigs, while Busa, holds singing sessions in bars and small corporate events. Busa is also a former contestant on GMA’s To The Top reality show.

Busa and Dimayuga will compete against Taiwan’s Tsui Fang Chang and Wei-Chen Lou, Thailand’s Nawinda Sittatikarnvech and Jutarat Mangkalarangsee as well as Malaysia’s Cassandra Anne and Gregory Ramanado.

Grammy winner Bolton will co-host the show with Morissette Amon, Riley Tang, and Lydia Sarunrat Deane.

Amon announced that she will be joining the show as host on May 4.

“Thank you so much Star World Asia and Fox TV for this incredible opportunity, looking forward to the rest of this whole experience,” Amon said in the caption of his Instagram photo with Bolton.

The show will air starting August 16 on Star World.
