Queen of All Media Kris Aquino has confirmed that there are ongoing negotiations with a TV network for her comeback to Philippine television.
“Ang hirap pangunahan. What if hindi matuloy? Ako mapapahiya,” Kris Aquino said in an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) on July 4. However, she refused to name the TV station she’s signing with.
Kris’s exclusive contract with ABS-CBN ended on March 2016 and has since been busy with her digital venture “Kris Digital”.
The veteran host-actress acknowledged that doing projects in a new platform has brought her new endorsements and other opportunities after leaving her home network of 20 years.
Kris commented on coming back to free television, “So, the negotiations are ongoing. I’m excited about it. It’s something also very new for me.But it’s something that I’m not rushing because I want the right project.”
Her friend Boy Abunda has nothing but encouraging words for his close friend, “Alam ni Kris kung saan siya nararapat, and that girl knows what she deserves and how to get there,” he said in an interview during The Entertainment Editors’ Awards on Sunday. “Sa akin, for somebody as big and as talented as Kris, everything is possible,” he added.
