Water park in Dubai launches search for junior lifeguards

Legoland Water Park, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, has launched a once in a lifetime opportunity for children to become junior lifeguards.
The Water Park aims to teach children life saving tips and techniques while also enjoying the 20 water slides and attractions.

Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of the waterpark said: “We are thrilled to launch the Junior Lifeguards competition in the UAE for the first time. This is an excellent educational programme for children to learn about basic lifesaving skills whilst having fun in the region’s first water park specially designed for families with children age 2-12.”

From 30 April 2017, the public will be able to nominate children aged 6-12 via video or photo with a caption on Instagram or Twitter using the #LLWPJrLifeGuard hashtag, explaining why they want to be a LEGOLAND Water Park Junior Lifeguard.

Those who will enter the competition must follow the LEGOLAND Dubai social media accounts, and tag them in the post using the #LLWPJrLifeGuard hashtag.

The lucky winners will be announced on 11 May based on the most creative and engaging entries.
